Techserve’s annual Toshiba Kick Off meeting was held in Fujairah from 21st to 22nd June was attended by Rajagopal S, General Manager, Techserve and Pradeep Kumar, Senior Manager, Toshiba Gulf and other senior managers from the company.
In identifying solutions for the coming financial year, Techserve delegates were invited to explore the themes of ‘Colour, Green, and Grow’ which centre on five key business ideas: continuous customer engagement, a move from lower to higher copies per minute machines and from black and white to colour machines to increase recurring revenue from service, sales of higher margin products, how to improve the share of key accounts, and working towards a solution driven approach.
The event began with enjoyable team building activities, with emphasis on promoting a team ethic of collaborative success. The next day, alongside formal presentations, a number of activities were organised which included ‘The Souk’, a real-time simulation of the multi-function printer marketplace. One of Techserve’s partners, a printing solutions software vendor, was invited to give a presentation on the significance of solution sales for better bottom line returns in a market scenario of diminishing product and service sales margins.
Techserve’s kick off meeting was a great success and significantly boosted the team’s motivation, built camaraderie and better understanding of the team dynamics. The associates gained an understanding of the direction of the business and on the key focus areas to which they can make a direct contribution.
On behalf of Sachin Wadhwa, Director – Electronics, Al-Futtaim, Rajagopal S communicated a motivational message to employees with a call to ‘Drive for Growth’. In his own address, Rajagopal emphasised the importance of a solutions driven approach and continuous customer engagement. He also reiterated the need to consistently add value to the customers in a tough market place in order to remain ahead of the competition.
